Adrian Allen

Adrian Allen (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist and community advocate committed to using creativity for social change. A graduate of Hampton University, Adrian specializes in painting, mosaics, and graphic animation, using art as a tool for expression and empowerment. She actively supports grassroots organizations in underserved communities and is working toward opening her own artisanal studio. Adrian’s journey as a first-generation college graduate and artist reflects her resilience, passion, and dedication to creating transformative spaces for marginalized voices.

John Bae

John Bae (he/him) is a criminal justice reform leader focused on housing and higher education access for justice-impacted individuals. As Director of the Opening Doors initiative at the Vera Institute of Justice and a former Second Chance Fellow with the U.S. Department of Justice, he has worked in direct services, philanthropy, and policy. John is committed to expanding opportunities for people with conviction histories and has played a key role in national strategies to support reentry and system reform.

Marsha King

Marsha King (she/her) is a justice reform advocate and entrepreneur dedicated to ensuring fair representation for incarcerated individuals. Her five-year incarceration in federal prison reinforced her passion for legal education and second chances. As the founder of M2K Supportive Services, she works to uplift individuals navigating reentry. Marsha’s lived experience fuels her advocacy, ensuring those impacted by the justice system receive the support they need to rebuild their lives. She is a proud mother to Isabella Williams and continues to champion opportunities for marginalized communities.

Paul Rothschild

Paul Rothschild (he/him) is a justice advocate and operations leader with years of experience in corporate management and reentry support. Having served a ten-year mandatory minimum sentence in federal prison, Paul has dedicated himself to dismantling systemic barriers for justice-impacted individuals. As Operations Manager at ENDPP.ORG, he applies expertise in business operations, IT, finance, and HR to drive organizational growth. Paul is a member of the JustLeadershipUSA Leading with Conviction 2024 cohort and is deeply committed to advancing equity in reentry, reintegration, and restoration of rights.

Bridgette Simpson

Bridgette Simpson (she/her) is an organizer, abolitionist, and entrepreneur working to protect and empower justice-impacted individuals. She is the co-founder of Barred Business, a 2023 Soros Fellow, and a member of Atlanta’s Human Relations Commission. Bridgette pioneered the S.T.A.B.L.E. reentry program for women and led the Protected campaign, classifying formerly incarcerated people as a legally protected class in Atlanta. She continues to build local and national coalitions, advocating for systemic change and the liberation of impacted communities.

Richard Smith

Richard Smith (he/him) is a healing strategist and nationally recognized expert on trauma and healing for survivors of interpersonal and systemic violence. With over two decades of experience developing and leading community-based programs, Richard has helped organizations throughout the country build their capacity to heal and empower BIPOC folks and marginalized communities. He is the co-founder of Alignmeant Global LLC, dedicated to cultivating cultural reclamation, restorative practices, healing justice, and system reform. Richard is a proud father to Kaden, Kaleb, and eagerly anticipates the arrival of his first daughter, Kali.

Mario F. Wright

Mario F. Wright (he/him) is a poet, youth advocate, and justice-impacted professional who uses creative arts to uplift underrepresented communities. As Creative Arts Coordinator at The Fortune Society, he blends storytelling, poetry, and filmmaking to combat mass incarceration and the school-to-prison pipeline. Mario has authored several books, including The Janitor: No Such Thing as a Bad Child, and is producing a documentary about his life. A dedicated father of three, he continues to use his artistry to inspire change and strengthen communities.
